We present Hobby-Eberly Telescope (HET) observations for galaxies at z < 0.3 from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) showing large velocity dispersions while appearing to be single galaxies in HST images. The high signal-to-noise HET spectra provide more definitive velocity dispersions and tests of binarity. Studies of emission-line widths in QSOs indicate that black holes can exist with masses greater than 5 billion solar masses, implying host galaxy velocity dispersions greater than 500 km/s by the local black hole – bulge relationship. The maximum velocity dispersion we find is 450 km/s, suggesting that either black hole masses are overestimated or that the black hole – bulge relationship changes at high mass.

central stellar velocity dispersion measurements for 428 galaxies in the Palomar spectroscopic survey of bright, northern galaxies. Of these, 142 have no previously published measurements, most being relatively late-type systems with low velocity dispersions (lsim100 km s–1). We provide updates to a number of literature dispersions with large uncertainties. Our measurements are based on a direct pixel-fitting technique that can accommodate composite stellar populations by calculating an optimal linear combination of input stellar templates. The original Palomar survey data were taken under conditions that are not ideally suited for deriving stellar velocity dispersions for galaxies with a wide range of Hubble types. We describe an effective strategy to circumvent this complication and demonstrate that we can still obtain reliable velocity dispersions for this sample of well-studied nearby galaxies

in a WORLD HERE AND NOW using correction of interactive involvements in the process of deciding which is wrong and which is right, there goes a strain of a deeper thinking -way that knew the process of choice was going to decide the values of men in representation ahead of the whole works of men and technology.Such a thought given, was to win over the middle ground of this ,thrown to the left and ,that, thrown to the right and knows the danger of the most sensitive  of things ,as the apparency of the obvious oppositions there are to maintaining the world ideal of natural energy =,the technology to do it.

In a process designed to have this support for it when ,even such thoughts as theese ,are thrown into the collective sections of  the rulers of non thought . Where a man and his 50 or 20 years of seraching would make it lost to the chance it has, to not be divided into the historical mistake of being redivided and divested by carefull disection in a world where it knows , science at its greatest , must have solutions for problems
